Did extraterrestrials built the mysterious pyramids of Antarctica?

 


One of the most controversial and baffling topics on the internet is the mystery of the pyramids of Antarctica.
Some refer to the pyramids as conspiracy theories while others believe they are just small pieces of many structures found hidden beneath Antarctica.
The occurrence of civilization in Antarctica is possibly ludicrous.
After all, Antarctica is one of the most uninviting places on Earth.

However, Antarctica was not covered in snow and ice millions of years ago.
What if at some point there was a human civilization on the now icy continent?

 Dr. Vanessa Bowman, of the British Antarctic Survey, stated speaking to The sun-

Antarctica has been a mysterious continent for years now.
It is the birthplace of numerous conspiracy theories, and many scientists indicates that Antarctica is more than snow and ice.

Actually, millions of years ago Antarctica was anything but ice.

Approximately 170 million years back, the now icy continent was part of a supercontinent called Gondwana.
Some 45 million years ago, Antarctica parted ways.

Considering the history of Antarctica, the continent was once located farther north enjoying a tropical climate.
What appears as ice and snow now, was lush green forests inhabited by various ancient life forms in the distant past.

Jane Francis of the University of Leeds spoke to The BBC in an interview-

“I still find the idea that Antarctica was once forested absolutely mind-boggling,” we take it for granted that Antarctica has always been a frozen wilderness, but the ice caps only appeared relatively recently in geological history.”

So, if Antarctica was a continent with massive jungles and ancient lifeforms, is there a chance human life could have settled there?
and if yes, then what turned it into Ice.
That’s something we cannot know for sure, as it is extremely difficult to research Antarctica as expeditions are extremely difficult and are not feasible financially.

In the absence of proper equipment, human beings wouldn’t last very long on the continent, which makes it tremendously difficult for researchers to carry out the research.

So far experts have found pollen in samples taken from Antarctica indicating that at some point of time in history, the temperature of Antarctica was around 20 degrees Celsius.

Researchers from Nevada’s Desert Research Institute discovered 32 species of bacteria from Lake Vida, eastern Antarctica in 2012 which prove that in the distant past, the climate on Antarctica was very different from now.

Moreover, it looks like that someone has apparently recognized the icy pyramids in the continent
Thishas led many people to deliberate that just as there were ancient civilizations in Asia, Europe, and Africa, similar human civilization may have developed on Antarctica, forming fascinating structures, and apparently even Pyramids.

Natural, Man-made, or made by Extraterrestrials?
The Daily Star suggests that if these structures prove to be man-made, it could change our understand of human history drastically.
Though, there are many other explanations throwing light on the mysterious structure in Antarctica.

There are various natural formations that can easily be misinterpreted for man-made objects considering the fascinating geology of Earth.
The pyramid-like formations could be rocky peaks known as ‘nunatak,’ which are basically protrusions through ice or glacial crust of the mountain peaks or rocks that are simply standing taller than the terrain that surrounds them.

But many people assert that in many of the so-called Antarctic Pyramids four defined sides can be seen evidently.
However, this can be defined geographically through erosion.
They can easily have formed after natural erosive forces molded them for millions of years.
Not that I am saying it is or it isn’t so,
I am simply providing as much insight as I can.
The frozen continent may have ideal living conditions at some point of time.
While there are those who believe that Antarctica is home to many secret alien bases, others believe that the formations that were tagged as pyramids are nothing more than natural geological formations.

As per researchers, the Antarctic Peninsula has warmed by an alarming 2.8 degrees Celsius faster than any other region of the world.
If this warming continues unabated, it is very likely that in the future we could see alleged tropical Antarctica reappear.
The interest in Antarctica is not developed recently, If we dig in past we will find that the Nazis were highly interested in exploring the icy continent
It is believed that Nazis built a massive base on Antarctica called Station 211.
The rumors are Station 211 did exist, and if it did, then it must have been (maybe still is) located inside the ice-free mountain range in the Muhlig-Hofmann Mountains of Neuschwabenland, aka Queen Maud Land.

As per the participants of the German expedition, the vegetation in Antarctica was due to geothermal sources.

One of the most interesting quotes about Neuschwabenlandand Antarctica comes from German Navy Grand Admiral KarlDönitz who said: “The German submarine fleet is proud of having built for the Führer in another part of the world Shangri-Laon land, an impregnable fortress.”
